1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work the same way; this policy covers both.
2. Your Choice
The banner shown on your first visit offers two optional categories, Analytics and Marketing, next to the necessary cookies, which are always on. "Accept all" and "Necessary only" are equally easy to choose, and "Manage" lets you pick each category. Before you choose, no optional cookie is set; only Google's tag loads, with all storage denied (see Google consent mode below).
You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings — in the site footer and inside the app. When you withdraw a category, we also delete the cookies it had set. We keep a record of each choice to be able to prove it (see the Privacy Policy, section 2.7).
3. Necessary Cookies (always on)
They make the site work and keep it secure; they do not need consent (Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive).

Google consent mode. Google's tag loads on every visit with all storage denied. Without your consent it sets none of the cookies above and sends Google only cookieless signals (for example that a page was viewed or an ad was clicked), which Google uses to estimate conversions in aggregate.
6. Local Storage
We also keep non-sensitive preferences in your browser's local storage (interface language, the state of interface elements, Chrome extension settings). This data stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
7. Browser Settings
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser — Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies; Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security; Safari: Settings → Privacy; Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions. Blocking necessary cookies can stop the site from working (for example, you could not stay signed in).
8. Changes
We update this policy when the cookies we use change; the date at the top shows the current version.
